[Suggestion] Slight penalty for missing an attack

I think there should be a slight penalty for missing an attack. An attack should become uncancallable after its about 3/5 through, if the attack then fails to hit someone it is counted as a miss. If you miss an attack there will be a slight delay before you can attack again, leaving you open to a counter attack, you still have time to block though.

I just think it's silly how if someone has a weapon that has about 15 more speed rating than yours they can just swing repeatedly, the only time you are safe to try an attack yourself is if you block and attack immediately after. My suggestion would basically mean missing an attack and having it blocked have similar consequences.

It belongs to a broader category of suggestions, each of them can be implemented by simulating inertia.
 
I agree you should at least have to bump the opponent to not swing yourself off balance.  Wow look at the support for this.  You could even start getting more technical and increase the delay with your next attack depending how heavy your weapon is.  Although that might make the mauls suck again.
 
this idea is as great as simple (to implement). i support this. (make a poll)
 
Test mentioned an inertia system in the works that would essentially penalize misses. It's probably going to be part of the new physics engine.
