Suggestion: Prisioners retake garrison

A suggestion: I was capturing in a recent war (alone, of course). I came upon a castle with a sizable prison population that I couldn't hire after freeing. Wouldn't it make sense if any soldiers not hired by a party would go towards guarding the garrision they were freed from?
 
A little extension to the idea.. I have often seen Castles with over triple the amount of Prisoners than there are Troops in the Garrison. Surely, if these prisoners managed to perform a successful prison break they would easily overwhelm the Garrison turning the castle into an un-managed Deserter Fortress ready for any Faction to claim.  :wink:
 
I think it would be better if you could "help the prisoners along". You know unlock a cell door or something. Then it would go into Calculated siege battle but the gates would be open as well as prisoners and guards would spawn from different parts of the map inside the castle or town. Then the player could join the fight grab the castle do a ctrl +F5 after winning and maybe even if some of the soldiers don't care would join the castle garrison. But most would leave because they are tired of the place.

Well, my thought is more to equalize the player's disability to defend newly-captured fortresses. I've seen the AI put in upwards of 200 soldiers (many decent ones, too) in a newly-captured but unassigned fief. For a player to try the same would be suicide; they'd probably not receive the fief [unless you're like me, holding 6 (Dhirim, Uxkhal, Praven, Reyvadin, Rivacheg, Khudan) of 8 (Suno, Curaw) captured towns].
