Sooo, I have a suggestion for something that may be odd but I think it would be really cool.
The lords hall in castles & cities don't really have any purpose as far as I know (except for having your own throne room), but what if there would be a room added in the lords hall somewhere which is like a strategy/planning room where there is a big map of Calradia and maybe even some interaction like you can see who owns what and whatever.
Basically a war room where you can spend time to organize, plan your campaigns and stuff. I think it would add allot of more interactivity in lords halls
