Even a great helm would not diminish sight all that much.Adept 说:I thought this was about helmets limiting visibility.
Now that would be great. If you choose to wear a great helm, your field of vision should be greatly diminished. If you go with a simple skull cap, just a bit of the helm's rim could be visible on the top of the screen, or no reduction at all.
There are reasons in reality to go without a helm. In game, only the slight weight of the helmet is a drawback, but they are all magically see-through.

Don't see how this would ruin anything at all even. I bet half of the people in this thread posting have barely any kills that have been overhands or blows to the head. Head armor also doesn't work all that well anyway and usually leads to death if struck.
Bannedjohncage 说:i think if you want to have your face be seen, you will have to sacrifice the protection afforded by helmets.
most of the helmets do however have an opening at the face so it shouldn't be a problem to recognize someone. it is also my experience that there are only 1 or 2 people at most wearing great helms simply because of its price and the fact that those who can afford it are consistently victorious.

DanAngleland 说:By the way, I do often go for overhead strikes against unhelmeted foes, and although it is hard to hit a moving target in this way it is effective when you hit them.
