(Suggestion) load screen

After I select "Multiplayer" the load screen showing the "Hints" only displays for a split second. Then it goes straight to the join a game screen.
The hints would be more useful if we got a chance to read them!

Could not agree more. Maybe hints should be placed wherever the loading time is actually "long", like at the startup, while the game is loading textures etc. Random hints could also appear in main meny, or in the other static windows somewhere.
 
Actually changing the lobby template whould help alot... This is what happends;

*Starts the game*

*loading screen..."Oohh thats a sexy picture, wow its awesome"*

*Main Menu.... "Nice touch to it"*

*Click multiplayer.... wtf was that flash? and what the hell is this dull brown background..."

Here, just like on any other forum, meaningful threads can often descend into the abyss pretty quickly.

Well, so far it is the issue of hints not being readable at all, so we can't actually evaluate their usefulness for neither MP, nor SP.
 
I agree that hints should be randomly generated while loading a game itself or somewhere in main menu. Other menus (and maps) are loading too fast to read those hints completely, and sometimes even notice them.
+ white text background ruins the whole picture, it's really out of place.
