As ranked Skirmish and Captain currently seem not to be available it only makes sense that the big inviting button in the middle of the Home-Screen should lead to content that is actually playable. Every new player who klicks this Button first, gives up after several minutes of waiting and decides that Multiplayer is not worth the trouble, is a waste.
The non availability of those two modes is an issue in itself that I hope will be adressed in some future patch. But even if those modes come back, I would suggest this change as expecially Skirmish games used to be highly competitive and not a good starting place for new players.
