So, I got an army of 48 people.
Some half decent units there. Excuse the awful state of the money and food.
Said units are more than enough to take out a hideout for 20-30 mountain bandits. Never had an issue with them on the field. (Shield wall formation supported by archers is 100% the best move)
I join this hideout raid for a quest, thinking all will be well, and that I'll get through this with perhaps a few wounded/losses. Lo and behold, when I load in... It dumps me with 4 recruits, 3 infantry, a medic companion against 35 (Plus their dead + wounded) pretty decent enemies.
Me, in all my foolish level 8-ness, decide to go for it anyways, thinking the enemies will be so spread out that numbers won't matter. I was wrong, then you see the scoreboard above this message.
If there are limitations on the number of troops we can bring in, please at least let us pick who we bring, or set a unit preference somehow, etc. I know there's a strategy perk that lets us position units pre-battle, but I'd rather just not get grouped with my recruits and peasants when facing Scotty McSkullCrushers from the Mountain Bandits and his 30 Javelin Throwing Chads.
