[Suggestion] Auto-Assign

Another one thats a common feature in a lot of games; an auto-assign button on the faction selections screen that makes the server put you whichever team has fewer players. I get quite tired of clicking both faction buttons and not getting into either one because of the flood of people trying to join them both.
A serverside option to force autoassign would be good too; it stops winning team jumping, and makes sure people get some variety in their gaming and helps stop things stagnating. Its enforced on the CSS server I frequent, and it really helps the game imo.

Agreed this would make it much easier for me to choose a team quicker. I always go with the team thats at a disadvantage. Be it numbers, wins/losses, or map(Khergit in village anyone?).

If you go to spectate you can find out but auto-assign would speed things up.

You can press tab at the faction selection screen to see the number of players on each team.

Anyway, great idea, don't know why it isn't in already as its such a fundamental part of multiplayer games.

Imo it could work well as a server option to avoid team stacking and everyone jumping on the winning team when they join.

Yeah this should definately be added in, also showing the number of players in brackets for each team on the faction selection menu would be a welcome addition as well.

Unless they changed it you need to join a faction or spectate in order to see the teams.

Maybe it's just US server8 then, but I always /tab before joining a team.

Auto assign would be nice anyway, just because it'd sometimes surprise you when it comes to the team you play (for instance, I never play Swadia, at all, because they're always the team with more people, if not the winning team).

2nded. When there's factions fighting which aren't my preferred then I would just love to be able to auto-assign.

The only one I know to almost always pick is Khergit cause people tend not to want to play as them.

Defo needs to be added, often I find myself joining a server with even teams... WHAT NO WAY you say. Well even in number players not skill-wise. Which team do I join? Often I care not too much about the faction.
Auto assign is definitely needed.
