I have recently started a playthrough of the mod and I wanted suggestions for what to do next.
Episode 1

Episode 2

Episode 3

Go around doing tournaments until your Renown is high enough to become a vassal of a faction, whichever one you choose. It really depends on your tastes. Rhodoks are best anti-cavalry, Nords are best at melee-parts of sieges, and have throwing weapons. Vaegirs and Swadians are sorta similar, but Swadians are more Cavalry-based and Vaegirs are Archer-based and good at the archer-part of sieges. Sarranids are sorta..... All-around, I guess. Rhodoks will beat them at anti-cavalry any day, Nords at direct infantry, on and on and on, but an elite Sarranid footman will beat, albeit difficultly, an elite Swadian or Khergit one. Khergits are uber-cavalry, only have a few infantry units, all of which are bad. Their Horse archers and Cavalry will allow them to conquer in a fieldbattle unless the AI is set high enough, or you command your troops well enough, that they form a Phalanx with shielders and spear-bracers on outside. Khergits, though, are horrible at sieges.

Do minor quests for local nobles and hunt down bandits at every single opportunity you can get. I really can't stress hunting bandits enough, not only does it net you new equipment and money, but it also levels up you and your party too so you can eventually start winning those tournaments.

As for what to do with that money, I recommend choosing a city/region as your home and start buying acres of land to generate coin for you. Once you have enough acres, you'll easily be able to pay for your troops' upkeep and then some.

Ideally, you should have joined a faction by now and earned a village for yourself. In which case, develop the village and do as many quests as possible for it since high relations net you better taxation and troop recruitment.

Thanks for the suggestion ill do that in my next episode.

You could try enlisting as well, thought it can be a bit boring when you don't have any battle for longer periods.

I saw a suggestion on another topic recently saying you could try playing through only with Heroes. Just make a band of heroes, level them up until they are all great then travel around waging war. I reckon that would be awesome, might give it a go myself!

Assuming you're going for entertainment of the audience in your videos, joining a tournament would work really well. It's entertaining, the point system keep some suspense (especially since your character is still weak, it should be worth watching. Mistakes usually spell death and lost points!) & if you can throw in some commentary it would be awesome! Loosing a tournament now is actually good, as we can see your progress and be cheering for you when you next enter.

If you're just recording your own leisurely play through. I would suggest getting more troops and generally roaming around taking out bandits. Eventually fighting your way into larger battles. That could be epic too.

I love the feedback  I probably wont enlist in an army because it can be quite boring. As for the tournament ill give some shots at it and ill be adding commentary in episode 3
