Subversion - checking out the development version of the mod (161)

Any news from others trying to DL it?...Here the whole folder is about 1.32 GB and it still doesn't seem able to load all textures properly... banner_a ..
 
well i tried 3 times uploading the whole thing at once, 1st time it aborted at 1763mb.  I've been uploading in small chunks now, this is the last one that will make the mod functional.  After this just the music left.

Edit: Are there alot of new textures since the last version? ;O

I tried to remove unused textures from the mod, including native textures.  The only way to do that was to move some of the native textures to the module's textures folder so yeah there is lots of them but many are just copied native textures.
 
where u want feedbacks?  people in Acre are damn aggressive..  just started a new game,  took a walk through the street ( nice town btw :smile: )and some ppl started to attack me, lol..  not the  guard,  just townswoman and men...
edit:  hmm, same in Iconium, Ankara ... or is it a new feature and i need a good relation to town :p

Everything in subversion is now updated to the most current version.  The bug with NPCs attacking in the cities is because I tried to increase the number of 'walkers' in the city but there is more to it than whatever I did to increase so kill the once that try to mug you :smile:

Yeah, this one is caused by this semi-existing faction 'Papal States', they don't have reinforcement templates :razz:
 
I'm currently downloading the music and will get back to playing once the download finished. I think the shield bash needs to explained. First it has to activated in the mod menu and you need to hold the right mouse button and push the left mouse button, sugarbabe. A certain amount of time has to pass before you can attack with your shield again, but I am oblivious as to how much time has to pass. I will see how well the AI makes use of this feature.

In the name of the Holy Lord the Almighty, how much music has been added lately? I already downloaded more than 600 Megabyte.
 
5s cool down, for the AI only troops with shield skill 6 and higher can do it.  It says 471mb on my machine, how did you get over 600mb of music :smile:
 
I will ask in this thread, as it will probably be the most read topic for the next while:

Do you have interest in listening to some soundtracks I have collected, picked out and recut (if necessary) to create an impressive soundtrack for M&B with focus on real medieval atmosphere? I tell you it sounds really great, but there is a problem:

Copyright. Most soundtracks are from various movies, most movies are well known (Gladiator, King Arthur, Kindgom of Heaven, etc.), others are quite "exotic" concerning M&B (Pearl Harbour, Rob Roy, Last Samurai, etc.), but some of their tracks just fit perfectly. Some music from PC games is there, too.

It's not a complete music-folder for a module but simply a bunch of .mp3-files, so that you can listen to them easily (easier than to .ogg files) and choose freely to which occasion assign which song. If you're interested, I can pack and upload them.

As you already have some tracks from Kongdom of Heaven and King Arthur in your mod, I think it basically won't change anything if you add some more copyright infringements  :mrgreen:

The .zip data would contain about 30 to 50 songs, I think.  :wink:
