Stuttering Only on New Enemy Loads...

Basically my game stutters everytime new enemies or re-enforcements are loaded into the battle. Not such a problem normally, but often times I go to swing and when it freezes up the swing fails and I end up getting hit from whoever I was attacking. I had to re-do a few sieges because I got knocked out because of this.

I've done the following with no change:

- Changed to DX7
- Lowered the Battlesize setting
- Lowered graphics setting (including removing of shadows, Synching on/off, etc)
- Added another Gig to my memory (I had 1GB now I have 2GB)

I'm at a loss now. It became a huge problem today when my sword should be faster than these damn Scottish hammers... and they beat the crap out of me when it stuttered.

This has been an issue since day one of playing... but I ignored it for the most part before. I know my CPU is fine, and my graphics card although lower end (6800 Ultra) it's still beyond the minimum standard (I can do Crysis at medium with no problems).

Any ideas?
 
This happens to me and I have a monstrous computer.  It's just part of loading that many assets at once and there isn't much you can do about it except know that it happens and be vigilant about your position when it does so that you have time to react.

Yeah I have 2GB RAM and a 256MB card... you'd think that would be fine. Everything on my computer meets or exceeds the minimum specs by a bit. No thoughts on how to reduce that?
