Stuttering in all M&B games.

This has been a problem with my game for a long time, ever since Warband.  It also occurs in With Fire and Sword as well as Napoleonic Wars.  For whatever reason, battles often result in some extreme stuttering.  It only happens when something loads (which is quite often).  For example, when I'm moving toward enemies and their higher quality LoD's load, it stutters.  When I hit an enemy or an ally lands a blow or gets it, it stutters.  Basically, the game freezes for about half a second and it occurs constantly during battles, especially larger ones.  It's not a performance issue either really, as it also happens in much smaller battles when my framerate is absurdly high.  It also doesn't happen in the first battle or two after I start a game.  It only starts happening after the first few fights and gets worse the longer I play, leading me to believe it's some kind of memory issue.  Although, I have checked task manager while playing and I'm not even close to being about of memory.  I've also checked my CPU/GPU temps and nothing is overheating.

I should also point out that it only really happens in SP (custom games in Napoleonic Wars included).  In MP, I get some really bad stuttering at the start and when a new player loads in (character model is loaded?), but aside from that, I don't really experience the problem in MP at all.  Hitting enemies and getting hit does not cause the issue in MP, only in SP.  I've tried some of the fixes I've seen mentioned before like messing around with the "Load Textures on Demand" option, but nothing seems to really help.  Running the game on minimum settings doesn't help either.  I also have no trouble with any other games I play (and I do play quite a number of different games ranging from Skyrim to stuff like Shogun 2:TW and Civilization 5).

My specs are as follows:  C2D e6850 @3.0ghz, 4GB RAM, GTX295, Windows XP 32bit SP3.  Not exactly the most amazing beast anymore, but I should have no trouble with this game.  And as I said, it's not a framerate issue exactly.  I can be getting an extremely high framerate and still get the stuttering.  Any solutions?

Hm, with lowest graphics does that include using direct x 7 instead of 9?

I don't think I've tried it with DX7.  But honestly, I shouldn't have to go that low.  I can run with pretty much everything maxed out and it's perfectly smooth framerate wise in most battles.  It's just the stuttering that's causing problems.

I am afraid that I have no knowledge of computer specs, and therefor no idea if your computer is capable or not.
But what I do know is that Direct x7 has helped more than a few people fix their problems.
Yes it looks ugly, but atleast it may work.

Anyway, hope that someone can help you out

Can you try and install this:

That's the driver I'm already using.  As I said in my OP, this issue has been happening for a long time, ever since Warband.  I have upgraded my drivers many times since then.

There seems to be some Nvidia stuttering issues, I will take it up with Taleworlds, the Engine people.
