Hello dear community i have problem like many other people with stuttering/lags in the Campaign battle, was trying everything what i found in uncle google, but without any succes, so i tried to fix it alone and found a problem why battles are stuttering in the Campaign, so the problem is not cpu or ram, its just sound, yes just sound i dont know why and its really strange but when i disable master, effects and music volume ( Set it to 0 ) theres no lags in the battle tested it on very low, medium and very high graphics settings with twenty infantry against looters and this fixed lags in battle but playing without sound its not a fix, so dear community someone can confirm it too? Thanks.

It is your hdd the game stores the sound in .bank extension shich requires decompressing hence you get the stutters because hdd is slow in that. I would suggest buying and ssd.

Bull****! i have an ssd and i still get those stutters, please don't spread misinformation.

I just answered your question about slowing...the game stores sound files in .bank format which requires decompression and hence high hdd/ssd activity, which in turn causes microstutters. The devs already know about it and are working on improving prefetching architecture for sound files.

I understand that what you say might be true, yet hdd's or ssd's should NOT play a role in stutter frequency in a "decently" optimized game.

But it happens in this game...well next time you start playing start sysinternals process manager and check the hdd/ssd usage and the file which is currently been read when the stuttering takes place.. The major culcripts were the sound files when i analysed the IO processes.

I already did that test in afterburner and did notice what you're saying, HOWEVER, this should NOT be the case it's an inherent flaw from the game which MUST be solved by the developers, he SHOULD NOT need to upgrade to an ssd. I noticed that this stutter doesn't even depend on how much troops there are on the field, there could be 10 or 300, the stutter will happen, the difference is that they will be stronger and more frequent on higher battlesizes, although not by that much.

Upgrading to SSD reduces the amount of time in stuttering...believe me Stuttering in HDD is worse than microstuttering in SSD. 150MBps speed of well optimised HDD is still slower than 500MBps transfer rate of SSD

Yeah i wish i could travel near the speed of light so i could get to full release and play this goddamn game without microstutterings!

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files.
