Summary:
Started a new game with a Sturgian character today, and noticed that whenever the party travels on snow, it gets an enormous speed bonus, instead of just getting a reduced penalty from it.
Sturgian culture bonus: "20% less speed penalty from snow" (= increased speed on snow by 20% of snow penalty)
Actual bonus seems to be: Increased speed on snow by 20% of base speed
The bonus can be seen below as "Feats":
base speed x 20% = feats bonus
4.76 x 0.2 = 0.95
The snow penalty is smaller than the bonus (see screenshot below), meaning that the party is able to travel faster on snow than on clear terrain, which is probably not the intended effect.
In any case either the Sturgian culture bonus is calculated using the wrong input (from base speed instead of snow speed penalty), or its description is off on the character creation screen.
How to Reproduce: Pick Sturgian culture in character creator, then travel on snow with your party
