Stupid masquerades

So anyway, I got invited by a dear friend of mine to her birthday party. However, she has chosen to throw in a theme just for the fun of it. I have no problems with theme parties, but for some reason I have a problem with this theme party. Because instead of throwing in something easy and fun, she makes it a Harry Potter theme party. She also requested that she wants us to dress out to Harry Potter characters. I'm completely lost in this, and I doubt I can manage to make me a hippogriff costume, I simply need your help to push me into the right character. Or towards. And this isn't just for fun, the person with the best outfit gets a prize. So if I win this, I will show pictures of myself in that costume.

Right now I'm leaning towards Luna Lovegood and that yellow clothing she wore on Fleurs and Bills wedding.

It's kinda' hard to be original. But then, if I went as Luna in that yellow outfit, then things might be quite original. But I bet that I'm too young to try to take on Rita Skeeter.
