To work: Can not have your weapon switch as mouse wheel up or it will just switch to players.

Well actually...When you jump off of an object and warp through the ground (that kind of looks like crouching I guess) and in some cases you can end up warping behind someone walking towards you.
Kind of like what happens with a horseman that loses his horse, his body travels with the horse's rag-doll and then just randomly teleports back to the spot where the finishing blow to the horse was dealt, which is like 10 m away. How has this kind of stuff not been fixed?
It's always funny to get dehorsed... and then start spamming the attack button while you are down to see if you hit the right timing for the glitched attack to come out while your character is still trying to get up. Whoever was walking towards you to get the finishing blow just gets slashed without seeing any animation from you.

Whenever I shoot someone with a nordic fighting helmet in the back of the head, they seem to survive frequently, but when I shoot them in the uncovered face (since the helmet model only covers the back and sides) they seem to die to a single shot just about every time.
Same things go for gloves, do they add armor rating to the body, or do they actually only protect the hands?
I can't imagine them putting that kind of effort into helmets and gloves, but it's a distinct possibility. Probably one of the most realistic factors this game would have if it were true.

As far as I know the game just has three hit areas, one for head, one for body and one for legs. The armour values of whatever items you get simply modify the armour for these areas. Not sure to what degree these areas conform to the body though, I would suspect it would not be much more than simple hit boxes approximating limb position.
I wouldn't have thought the direction to the head shot would effect damage but it might, however I would think if there is any effect there then it would be more likely due to the fact that someone facing you is coming towards you adding a little bit of speed bonus whereas someone facing away from you is probably also moving away from you, removing speed bonus.
