Stuff it took you way too long to figure out

There's a lot of things in Mount & Blade that either aren't explained well, or just aren't explained period. What's a feature that you simply didn't know about for way longer than you should have?

Here are a few of mine:

1. On the character screen, clicking the name lets you change it.

2. On that same screen, clicking the picture of your character lets you change their face.

3. On the party screen, holding Ctrl while clicking "Upgrade to..." lets you upgrade all of that troop at once instead of having to click for every single soldier. I literally just discovered this by accident a minute ago. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome averted!

Awhaaaa? I didn't know that.

Mine would be:

1. While travelling on the world map, pressing ctrl+space bar makes you travel faster.

2. You don't pay for things you loot in multiplayer.

3. You can transfer items from one inventory window to the other by pressing ctrl and clicking on them. (I used to drag each looted item one by one into my inventory)

Ctrl + Space was also the one thing I really missed for a long ass time.

But I also blame that for ****ty option screen that doesn't show you all of the keys in game. Have tried to do SP a bit more and it really is shackled by some terrible UI choices, really hope they smooth that out in bannerlord.

In MP, in Field by the River, you can walk to the goddamn windmill. I thought it was part of the background for 2 years.

You can set your controls so that you can switch weapons easily for example with 1-2-3-4. Recently found that out after lots of awkward moments switching through unnecessary weapons.
