Struggling to understand what dictates the candidates for a fief after the siege. Most of the time it doesn't even make sense, it calls upon lords who didn't even partake on the battle, rarely the player is selected among those, and then there's the ruler influence magnate who usually takes everything for self. Those things need better explaining, or fixing (if it's tied to obvious scores etc)

It looks like to me that it depends on several main factors: clan tier, the amount of fiefs a clan holds, the proximity of the newly taken fief to a particular clan's holdings. The votes don't seem to make much (if any) difference, taking part in the battle doesn't seem to have much bearing either... but at the end of the day, even if these are factors, the end result seems like fief allocation is all up to the ruler's discretion.
