Can someone explain to me why it is bad for Taleworlds to be making other games? Isn't that the point of a gaming company? Besides, they are still working on Bannerlord, as is evident by the monthly patches that we receive.

So, someone please explain this animosity.

They have been god awful at communicating while cutting features, being way behind expectations, and being extremely slow to add any much needed depth to the game. While they are struggling to manage developing even just this game (look at their glassdoor page), they are using money paid to support this game to start a new one.

The first argument is one I really do not understand. They got a roadmap out, they do videos about what features they're going to implement, they are present on the forums and in some threads. What more do you want? Them plastered to the forums to answer every post? I think the communication we are getting is good enough for a company. But each to their own opinion, and perhaps your opinion is shared by the masses active on the forum.

Edit:
Look at the steam store page. Very positive are the reviews, so people seem to like the game so far and how Taleworlds is handling development. Sure it has shrunk by a few percentages lately.
I have not yet given a positive vote for Bannerlord on the steam store page, since I'm waiting for it to be fully released before I cast judgment.

Not at all, Bannerlord failed in basically all hopes I had to play a better and modern Warband, they delivered garbage as far as I know and I still play it but mostly because there no other game like it at the moment, but I do hope a truly competent studio is working on something right now.

I guess a lot of studios have noticed the huge EA success of Bannerlord. I would bet that we´ll see some kind of this games in the near future.

Just imagine a good studio working on the same concept. The hardest thing will be the engine I guess.

That's an astute observation. But will they really try to develop a similar game or put most of the money in devblogs? There are two different lessons here.
Genuine competition to Taleworlds will benefit us all.

Lol no

the steam reviews mean absolutely nothing, you just have to read them to see the level of objectivity
Lol yes (Why did I stoop to this level of communication?)

The steam reviews mean nothing? It means that a majority of the masses are happy or content.
Your unhappines and that of the vocal minority on these forums are just that, a minority. It doesn't matter how much you reply with "lol no".

Steam reviews has to be taken with a grain of salt, as does everything.

How many people might change their mind about a game but not go back and change a favourable review?
The same can be said for the opposite too.

Steam reviews don't give a full picture. Reddit polls and threads doesn't, and these polls and threads here certainly doesn't either.

This is the kind of communication I can put up with. A reasonable well informed post.

I agree with you.

You are right.

It's kind of funny to see how much people hate the game after they played it for 1000 hours though.

I'd greet that information with a delicate smile, build extra popcorn reserves, update my favourite meme databese, log into their beta and immerse myself into the everyday absurd once more...

No matter how their past is, If they put the heart in it make a good quality game, I will buy it. Let quality make the judge.

Another early access game by TaleWorlds? That is quite terrifying. Oh, But I can foresee the modders will help TaleWorlds finish that game.

And I have another question, how long will it take TaleWorlds to prepare their new game? It is an opening question. Feel free to answer.

In addition to unknown number and type of people already employed (one of which must be an art director), they only hired a hard surface artist (mechs, guns...) recently and they are trying to hire a writer and a gameplay programmer. If all goes well and they have a proof of concept, they will announce it and start shifting Bannerlord staff to their new game.
Expect an announcement in 9 months because you didn't pull out in time.
