Strange Prison Bug

Sergeant
Firstly, I should point out that I found this bug in the Dionsia mod. I'm pretty sure it isn't a mod-specific bug and that I could find it in Native but I haven't tried to replicate it yet. In any case, the bug is as follows.

Upon returning to Haringoth Castle, where I was the proud owner of a brand new prison tower, I deposited a pair of freshly captured Vaegir lordlings. Afterwards, I decided to speak to the prison guard to see what they had to say. I walked in, found out that they didn't have any sort of interesting 'interrogation' dialogue and left. It was when I left that the strangeness began. You see, when I went into the prison the courtyard was pretty empty. When I came out again, it was rather crowded. I have for you now a picture of that crowding.

If the fellow in front of me and the one in front of the door to the prison look familiar it's because they are copies of the player character. When I spoke to my doppelganger he informed me that he was Lord Vahn, ruler of the Player Faction and lord of Praven, Haringoth Castle, Amere and Tahlberl. It gave me the option to swear fealty to him, which I didn't try because I'm pretty sure it would just let me know that I was already sworn to Lady Isolla. If this other Lord Vahn stays where he is I just might renounce my allegiance and try taking an oath to myself.

This is what happens when I ask myself for tasks. I asked myself for more troops, but it seems that my doppelganger wants to build a clone army. I have no idea how he expects me to raise 5 Players and I'm kind of nervous about asking him for recruits since I'm not playing with quitting without saving. I think I'm going to have to refuse myself here.

When I mentioned to my doppelganger that I had met someone named Lord Vahn in my travels he commented that not many people were brave enough to mention that name in his presence, just like a King being confronted with the name of a claimant. Then he started to ramble about King Ragnar as you can see in the image below.

Then he started rambling about the failings of Lethwin Far-Seeker.

That's about all that happened. If he shows up again, or remains where he is I just might forswear my service to Lady Isolla and see about joining him.

It's in Native, too. Several castles have this problem. It usually occurs when leaving the lord's hall.

I wonder what sort of recruits he would have given you.

Very funny bug its happened to me before and it took me by great surprise. After talking to my clone he suddenly became enraged and we got into a fist fight. I killed him yet in his dying words he said he was my grandfather come from the past. Thus a time vortex had been created and as my grandfather perished, so did my father and thus, I was no longer inexsictence. An error message came up stating:

"Error Script: Player_lineage.exe"

It's yet another "You meet yourself" bug. So far, people have met themselves in castles and as leaders of gangs of deserters. This shows you can also meet yourself in your own castle.

Did it seriously say he was your grandfather come from the past? and if you got into a fist fight how could he have died unless you managed to give him a virtual concussion and make him fall asleep
