Strange add on the forum.

When I went to the M&B forum today I noticed something odd in it, it had adds that appeared when the words "winning" or "free", and maybe other words, were written somewhere.
This is what happened:

And then I went to the Twim thread to find the site to upload the images:

I didn't clicked in any of those and I'm not going to do it, also the forum works perfectly apart from that. This doesn't happen on my other pc neither on my iPad. I also think that I'm the only one having this problem and I'm worried if I have a virus or any stuff like that.
If anyone could help me to solve this problem I would be very gratefull.

Does it even happens when you have logged-in?

Does it happen on every navigators ?
I'd say your navigator is 'infected' by some sort of annoying ads software.

Here are few things you could try:

- Delete your history, coockies, cache and the rest of your navigator.
- To check if it really comes from the navigator, try another one.
- If you still got the same issue, your PC is infected, try running some tool such as 'Spybot Search & Destroy'.

@crodio, I was logged in when that happened.
I rebooted my pc because it was a bit slow and now no adds appeared
@Ra'Jiska, I didn't try on another navigator but if the problem happens again I will do as you say.

Someone was downloading a few shady things

Scan your computer with a virus software as mentioned above.

Looks like something is stored in your browser.

Hit F12 for developer tools.
Goto Console tab.
Write localStorage.clear();

Options -> Advanced tab -> Network tab -> Hit the "Clear" button on Cached Web Content and Offline Web Content and User Data.
Additionally you wanna think of lowering the override autimatic cache management. But thats a personal choice.

To prevent stuff like this happening again I would recommend having a few addons. Including a tracker remover on websites(Ghostry), a cookie deleter(Cookie Manager, Beter Privacy) and most importantly a Addon preventor(Adblock Plus).

I recommend running AdwCleaner, it should get rid of like 95% of adware such as those ads and popups.

I was on vacation, came back to my computer and it somehow had malware on it. You have it. If your using chrome, go to your settings, extensions, and disable anything you dont recongize, dont delete it, it will just come back. Disabling it, it wont come on. Sorry this happened! If its Cosstminn, it wont come off. **** should be illegal, Adware Programs cant get rid of it. Its immortal.
