How did you make these images? By drawing, but how did you make the background?

I drew everything myself (including the background) using GIMP.

Yes, Roundy tripped and drowned, Pointy hit himself with a plank when he found Roundy dead and the horse grew wings and flew off. Starfish was obviously the king of the sea after his duel.

I do. I'm not trying to make everything look super-nice. I'd rather stick to a sort of cartoonish feeling.
