Storage/garrison

something that wouls be very nice would be some kind of place to store troops and loot rather than hauling them around. Especially with the inability to recruit advanced troop types.

Garisson : you could either :
* get your troops into garrison (1/2 pay as they don't go around risking life and limb). So you can drop the soem kind of troops while training another if you're short on troop slots
* just drop them without pay. With a significant chance for quiting, but could work for a short stint.

Storage : that one should be relativley easy to implement : create some kind of storage where you could pile up stuff not immediatley needed, or omehtign you're not sure of wanting to sell whithout having to haul it around.

Yeah having a place to store loot and drop-off non-hero party members would be helpful and easy to implement. Some quests/situations call for smaller or larger parties and having to cart everyone around all the time is sometimes ineffeciant.

You'd have to pay them of course.

I've been leaving Mandrid (is that his name? the guy who's not Borcha) at Zendar with the troops that I don't want to carry around. eg, give him some knights and he's not likely to get attacked by the small bands who wander around Zendar. That way I can free up slots pretty well and get my troops upgraded fast.

That would make even more sense if you could somehow aquire a castle for yourself (call it lordship for instance). You could then have a small army garrisoned there :). With the added bonus of getting weekly money from farmers etc.

The 'drop troops for a time' feature would be especially worthwile with the 'recruit troops' missions.

This would let you do them withour ruining your party.

Question : if you send an hireling (Marnid or Borcha) out with troops and ask hilm to go to the 4-ways inn. Does he keeps the troops ?

Yup, this would be good. Maybe just a option to garrison troops/Stash items at a town.

...or make possible to build your own fort.
This would lead to supply arrangements, more followers, small sieges and all things irritating and exhilarating :P
