We really do need a link to the old suggestions forum. It's weird that the old forum is still hidden away, when it has so much useful feedback people should see.

Anyway, one thread of particular importance from it is @Noudelle 's megathread: https://forums.taleworlds.com/index...nconsistencies-megathread.389699/post-9184175

Its details could also be handy for Single-player. But it's a really useful collection of feedback threads. Not just for developers, but also for others who want to give feedback, or who want to inform themselves about how the engine works.
 
A thread like this is definitely needed, but not this one. Some of the linked threads are pretty old and don't represent the current state of the game. Also I might have gone overboard with the smarm a few times.
That being said, this thread is better than nothing and should be stickied for the time being in my opinion.

Agreed. Some of the bugs you mentioned will be fixed. It ought to be treated like a check-list, where threads that become irrelevant are crossed out and put on a list to show the progress the Devs are making.

Well that's already what I've been doing in that thread. And most of these issues are not technical issues but rather conceptual ones. The mechanics themselves work perfectly fine, but it's the ideas behind them that are flawed.
 
Are you still updating that thread, these days?
I was until the beta ended. But to be honest there was barely a need for updates because most of these issues have never been addressed.
I'm working right now on updating most of these topics and posting a similar thread on this board.

The threads will mostly bring the same points as the old ones, but updated for a non-beta context.

I've nearly completed rewriting most of my combat feedback threads in the beta section. Starting now I'll start drip-feeding these threads in order of importance in this board here to get proper discussions going for each one of them, instead of dumping them all here at once. Once most of these are posted after a week or so, I'll post another megathread in this board which will include all the remade threads.

Edit: I'll actually hold off on posting these threads until a proper combat feedback board is made.
 
I hope they add one... the forum has been a mess. Old boards buried without being replaced, so the citadel was awash with EVERYTHING. No effort so far to link to the old suggestions boards or move the threads.... I worry they are trying to hide those boards and their feedback intentionally.

I'll probably drop by to give my perspective on the combat issues, since I have a pro-realism stance I can put against yours. Should be fun.
