Steppe bandits... in steppe!

Yesterday, I experienced steppe bandit attack in their natural habitat and it was very impressive. Totally flat terrain, I had only few footmen on my side. First I saw something moving on the horizon, and then the wave of horsemen came. I had only two-handed voulge to defend, I threw a few jarrids and then they came! Whirling maces and swords all around me, I parried one from the left, got one from the right, then a mace blow knocked me off my feet and I reveived two more spear jabs and was knocked out cold.

The whole affair did not last more than a few seconds! When there are no hills to take advantage off, cavalry attack is devastating - as it should be! Mighty fine experience. Steppe bandits also reseble Mongols - and whole known world feared Mongols once.

Footmen without shields do. Or they should, trying to avoid horse archers' arrows while on feet is pretty fustrating.. Though when you have a horse, a shield and a lance, well, you have nothing to be afraid of really.

You know, I recently realized that Khergits give more experience than Sea Raiders do.

Now that's just an outrage.

Steppe bandits are little children comparing to the khergit riders. I killed 24 bandits wits 2 swadian knights , but I lost 12 of them fighting the same number of khergit riders. :( :(

Steppe bandits are... well. Steppe bandits. Stinking, dirty, unorganized bandits that somehow managed to get a sword.

Khergit Raiders... *shivers*
It's all the same in the new versions, whether you get into a fight with dark hunters or khergit riders if you are a low lvl character who isn't able to get more powerful troops than caravan guards.

Kherigt Raiders are mongols. Steppe bandits are just scum.
