Steam version of Viking Conquest not recognized on Steam

I bought Mount & Blade Collection on Amazon and it includes Mount & Blade, Warband, Fire and Sword, and the DLC's Viking Conquest and Napoleonic Wars. When I ran the DVD it installed on Steam, but Steam doesn't recognize the Viking Conquest or Napoleonic Wars and therefore I am unable to update Viking Conquest from version 2.005 to 2.012. I haven't tried Napoleonic Wars yet but am pretty sure it has the same issue as it is also not recognized by Steam. I am able to play Viking Conquest as there is a drop down menu after I launch the game where I can choose either plain Warband, Napoleonic Wars or Viking Conquest. When I try to view DLC content on Warband from the Steam menu it says that I don't have the DLC's.

I can't help you with keys though. TW support might be able to, but if it's enough, you can download the latest version of VC from https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/VikingConquest/Download

I downloaded the 2.012 update, but it is for the non steam version of VC and when I tried to install it a message popped up saying that it couldn't find an installation of warband and the update was aborted. The steam version of warband is installed under "steam" in program files so the non steam VC installer couldn't find it and there was no option on the installer to browse for the directory it is installed in. The version of VC I have is 2.005. So the non steam version update doesn't work and steam doesn't recognize that the dlc is already installed and tries to sell me the VC dlc because according to steam I don't have the VC or NW dlc's. There is no steam support to deal with this type of issue.

Hi Alene,
I sent a friend request to  Lady_Alene_of_Swadia on steam. Today I got an idea how to update my version of VC from 2.005 to 2.012. I downloaded the file that you posted a link for, the 2.012 v of VC. Then I used 7 zip to extract all the files from the downloaded file and copied them to the modules directory in Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules. I started the game and it was updated to version 2.012. Maybe you can still help me figure out how to get steam to recognize the Viking Conquest and Napoleonic Wars DLC's, but if that doesn't work, no big deal at least it's updated to the latest version.
