I've been playing mount and blade warband on steam for a while now.

And I log in today, to find that I cannot find internet servers, by my favorites have appeared, I try to join one, and it says "Incorrect Authorization Key"

I do have a key, but I have no idea how to authorize it through steam.

Any help?

Hey, i'm having the same problem at the moment..
This thing occurred this morning. It is the first time this has happened to me..

I've found out that this problem has occurred for many people before .
I already tried multiple things to fix this issue. None have worked.
I believe that only solution to this problem is waiting.. Most of these problems have been solved by doing nothing..
There is some sort of security check that has gone messed up.. It will reboot in some time and then everything works

I actually found the solution..
Check this link.

This problem came up on me when i was playing on my own server.. I closed that server.
However i believe that actual solution for me was deleting those 2 files.

So.. try this:

You can delete a file within steam files called clientregistry.blob and Appupdatestats.blob - this for some will refresh the keys and re authorise the ones you had. its just in the main steam folder not in the mods or games just below all the files.

Also having this problem. Trying various solutions. I'll keep trying things and see what happens. Hopefully this gets fixed. Missing a linebattle

Ok, nothing seems to be working. Come on Taleworlds. Come help us out! I know there's quite a few people having this problem.

Okay guys this problem isn't hard to fix, there are many things I could tell you to delete, re-install and what not and I have done so an it works for me.
But what you guys need to do is just wait it out, it is a problem with one of the TW servers I -believe- and it fixes itself automatically after about an hour or so.

But what I would suggest doing is going into your steam folder and deleting everything except the following: Friends(with a folder next to it) steam(with a folder next to it) steam(with a steam icon next to it) and steamapps(with a little yellow folder next to it).
Once you've done that restart your PC, then open up steam, it will do an update and ask you to login again. Follow the steam instructions. Then go onto 'Computer' and type in the top right hand search bar 'rgl_config'. Go onto it and find 'use_secure_connection'. If its 0 change it to 1 and visa versa. Once you've done that try and see if the problem persists.

If this doesn't help then Wait it out.

Ok, you're right. The problem seems to fix it self. Let's hope that it doesn't happen often. It's odd, not only can I now join games again, I'm also finding servers that I couldn't while I was having the problem.
