steam achievements not working

i can't seem to unlock the achievements even while playing native i know its not important i just want to unlock them for fun i tried activating warband using the cd key but it says its invalid

disable the "Enable cheats" option.

Maybe if it detects you have cheats enabled it will stop for that character. So maybe to get the achievements you have to make a new character while cheats is disabled and keep it disabled through the whole game while playing that character.

that sucks i like teleporting don't like using the killing cheat though
