Steam account haxed

well been a while since soemthing liek this has ever happenend to me

I just got a random message on steam by a random person that I thought must of been from one of the 3 groups I am with
anyway whoever this person is sent me a link, I was stuped enough to click it and it was the steam log in page and asked me to log in to see the page, I tryed to log in which didn't work and now I'm locked out of my own account,  and I can't reset my password becasue steam is saying it can't find my user or email adress any advice people

Try and contact Steam to lock the account ? I don't know, that's what you'd do with a phone. As it is, Steam is ****e anyway.

Well you had to expect the above ridicule, didn't you? Silly Sausage! 

Anyway, having no experience of this at all. Could you not email Steam admin with your details and explain the situation? Surely your account would have been IP logged (although I know this has some limitations). Or, the hackers may not have your email address (which I assume would have been used for confirmation with Steam?)

Good Luck, and if my suggestions have been useless, good intentions were intended.

Regardless, they did a good job recreating the site, everything's there, except for the url and the url-icon which is green with some Japanese (?) letters on it.

OK I was able to contact steam, but from what I can see I have to send them a whole bunch of information like game  serial keys and photos of the game box and me holding these things, serious stuff

Err, yes the do. That's why I was saying I'm semi-impressed.

Bizarre, everything works perfectly fine for me. It's exactly the same as the real Steam site.
