Steam 1.131 crash

I have 1.131 on steam and whenever i play offline it crashes to the desktop when i kill anyone.

Could anyone tell me what's happening?

It should crash even when you try to begin a new game. Maybe something to do with the achievements.

same here, 100% of the time. Although it crashes whenever anyone dies, I don't have to kill ianyone myself. This is happening to me in sp. Also, i played a custom battle this morning with no problems. I thought the difference might be that I'm currently  playing in off line mode whereaswhen the game worked this morning, I was connected to the internet. I can't currently test whether it crashes when steam is connected.
