stealth mechnics?

I know it sounds suggestive, considering my nickname. But maybe there could be some ambush mechanic added to the game that would allow players party to reamin unseen for AI if concealment in forrest, or other types of terrrain?
 
If I recall correctly there are ambush mechanics as you described in Mount and Blade: Viking Conquest. Or perhaps I"m thinking of some Total War game I played?

Now I could be wrong but basically I think it's a matter of getting X skill up high enough(Tactics?) and you can hide your party in a forest and ambush Bandits or Ambush enemy armies if their Scouting isn't high enough. On the flip side Bandits and enemy party can do the same to you if their Tactics are high enough and if your Scout doesn't spot them!

Speaking of stealth in Viking Conquest you can hunt wild boar in a bandit camp type encounter. While hunting you're required to crouch walk to get close enough to use Javelins. You can also order your Bandit Camp Companion party to crouch walk in order to sneak up super close to bandits before they spot you and open fire. I hope we see some of the epic level bandit camps in Bannerlord, much like the epic bandit encounter on the beach in Viking Conquest
 
I think right now given the state of the AI, this is very wishful thinking :grin:


I think it's TW you're thinking of. You could hide troops in a forest.
 
Stealth mechanics would be good. I also think a stealth mini-game for things like entering a besieged castle or sneaking into an enemy town would be far better than the random chance rubbish or the "lose half your troops" cost.
