Stealing from chests

How do you do it?

Press P when your near a chest, Type the value you want to take from it and press Withraw From Chest.
Anyway, the chest has to be broken to be able to steal from it. Only the lord of the respective faction can take money from it without the chest being broken.

Chests can be also opened with lockpick, rather then smashed - chances are 10*looting skill. If you heard the sound after using, it means that you've failed - try again.

So when I have a lockpick I just press P near it?

no. when you have lockpick, you use (f) chest (30 seconds afaik). Then if you heard no sound, use P and withdraw money.

I remember me and another guy ambushing a chest guard, then when my friend was fighting him off, i tried to lockpick the chest.

It worked well, until 10 other players burst through the door and we had to flee without the loot

It was epic though Looking over my shoulder, keeping an eye on my friend so that he managed to keep the guard away from me. Really intense.
