Teleporting shouldn't cause framerate issues.
We will make sure you don't wait between duels if you are ready to go instantly. We will add more arenas to the map if it becomes an issue.

FTx option is interesting, we might add it if redueling ends up having too much time loss. Will playtest first then think about it. Thanks for the idea.

Lowkey, even if the wait between rounds is negligible, this is such a QoL feature. It means there's less work for players who are already interested in exclusively duelling one person. It doesn't need to be a huge improvement, it just makes the player's life easier. You know?

We are planning to enable reflective friendly fire, you take most of the FF damage you deal, for siege to make engagements more meaningful. That should help with weapons like the menavlion being too effective.

Awesome change. Is this being considered for TDM as well?

I am the person you are mentioning and we are already working on most of the items provided by the Captain's League community.
To summarize the list provided

1. New Maps ✅
2. Ranged AI Improvements ✅
3. Separate Balance for Captain Mode - Needs a bit more time for a proper solution
4. Melee AI weapon selection improvements ✅
5. Mirror Match outfits are too similar - Being discussed
6. More class variety and perk options for Captain Mode - Needs a bit more time for a proper solution
7. Win Rate Balance ✅ - We will make more aggressive and frequent adjustments
8. Flag position Adjustments - Forwarded to Map designers
9. New formations - Maybe Later
10. Ranged weapons and arrows should deal more damage to shields - Rejected


Thanks for the reply @AVRC. Glad to see that you are looking into this. Not on that list you showed, though, is a very important point: do something about Battania.

By the way...I did not support that number 10 on the list. Frankly I have no idea how that made it onto the list, lol. Cheers.

Though please do Channel setting>
1. Proximity (including both team and enemy players). I want to intimidate enemy players too, which would add up so much fun to Bannerlord. I can already see them running away as soon as they hear my passive aggressive threats. Also, proximity voice for those hardcore realistic sim servers we will have one day.
2. Team (for skirmish/captain).
3. Squad for sieges and future battles etc, since team voice chat would be overwhelming with 60 players per team.

@AVRC what Ling said. Captain mode has great bones and in time I think will explode in popularity. Many of the serious captain players have obviously been disgruntled since 1.5 dropped so this gives me hope for the future of the mode.

cpt mode has 3 maps, theres a limited amount of openers you can do on each map. It would need a massive pool of maps or a very good random map generator.

  • Any class from any faction
  • You get refreshed before/after duel
  • Players are teleported to closed Duel Arenas where no one can interfere. No fighting outside of Arenas.
  • Arenas are quite flat, Archery Arenas have some small bumps and props for cover.
  • You challenge with F, you can accept/reject challenges.

Can we not use the sunset map for the Arena? That orange light makes people sleepy. It is human nature...

Are we going to have a different sound effect when we are getting block stunned?
It's hard to tell which is happening: you got stunned/network delay/successful block

Sometimes, after a block, I want to fight back but my character just stops. Then I thought: ok, its network issue, just a little bit delay, he will swing soon... .... ... then I died

Nobody plays this weapon on foot because of various reasons. Me and some other people already opened threads about this

There is basically nobody playing a 2h spear, and very few that play with shield and spear. I had whole siege and tdm games without seeing a single spear. If you plan to keep this weapon as a horsestopper only, then please tell us at least, so we can switch to another weapon.

What do you mean? The spear is very much used in skirmish, especially in advanced team plays. It's not a short range weapon, and never has been.

I think Spears are at a good place right now. Effective against cavalry and useful in melee mostly as a support weapon. When you have good distancing you can make use of the range advantage in 1v1 but you shouldn't be expecting it to effective in all scenarios.

Sorry, but spears are fine the way they are right now. No need to do something about them. And yes, they're not used on TDM/Siege because everyone's memeing there anyway.

I'd say you could speed up the long spear a bit, but be very very careful about that, otherwise it could ruin it again. Short Spears as support weapons are totally fine.

Yes i believe khuzait spear is the best spear rn but the sturgian or vlandian spear are way too slow rn. Like giving 5 more speed will help and won’t affect gameplay that much.

About time! Great news!!!

Many new core multiplayer features are getting added to the game such as Voice Chat, which will allow players on the same team to use their microphones to strategize, coordinate and cheer as they win their matches.
^^ I can see this turn problematic and cancerous^^^xD
