Summary: I was putting stuff into my stash and noticed I got 3 levels to trading after doing that (from 244 to 247). Most of the items were marked green on the right side. Green would mean profit in most cases, and I say most because that is also relative many times. It seems the game considers stashing as trading.
How to Reproduce: Buy stuff for cheap somewhere that has high value in your own settlement. Then put those items into your stash and see that xp flow in.
