Starting a new game

I made my money by battling looters and bandits, Raiding mountain Bandit layers at the start and selling the loot, by doing this you will also increase your Character Renown & Honor Rating, When you get your level up a bit decent, then start hitting Sea Raiders for better weapons and armor also keep raiding there layer for good selling loot, Then Tundra Bandits, but be careful with them as there pretty mean with those javelins, Just keep looting most Bandit layers and do some jobs for guild masters for some decent cash as well, Once your level is decent then join a faction, do some jobs for fellow vassal's and other vassal's. Earn your villages and castles as your level and Renown, Soon as you join a faction as well if you have enough denars open a prodcutive enterprise in that factions city's to bring in some weekly denars. Large groups of Deserters as well are worth battling, you can earn some decent selling loot and denars from beating them, but make sure your a decent level to handle it....

I also like to put some points into Prisoner Management skill, And use a Blunt 2 handed weapon like a Maul or the great hammer , to knock as many bandits or sea raiders out as i can, 15 Sea Raiders can fetch you way over one thousand denars with the Ransom Broker..

Most of my early money comes from selling prisoners to ransom brokers and the slaver in Tihr.  To make it work you need a blunt weapon and/or a bunch of levelled up Manhunters.  There is a maximum of 8 Ransom Brokers in the game.  Talk to everyone you see, so later you can ask a Traveller where they are.  Without you talking to them the Traveller does not know their locations.

Manhunters are weak, so they need help in levelling.  I tend to hire Merc. Cav. or Horsemen for the job.  Once they level up they do fine on their own.  Sometimes I even fired the Merc. Cav. once they were not needed, so they didn't kill my bandits and didn't unnecessarily increase my party size.  Small party is better for bandits.

Then I used to buy Enterprises in cities.  Ask a Guild Master about them and go through the options.  The second lowest is usually the best.  It costs 10k and nets you 500-ish per week, and double that in Rivacheg.  If you do that everywhere you will earn about 7k a week.

I hit up town lords outside their towns. Good chance they give you a task to collect tax for them. You get several 1000 and there is no time limit on paying it to him.

I also like getting Khergits and training them up to Lancers, while hunting bandits. When you free manhunters train them up.

Ok, thanks. I got several slave drivers. My favorite getting money job is taking lord as prisoners. I got 5 vaegir lord prisoners  Sold one for 5000$
