Starting A Kingdom Problems

I started my own kingdom and ran things smoothly.  However when i left my own kingdom and went to another there was one of my patrols left and i attacked it to get rid of it.  well that put me into the negative with my own kingdom and now "trying to re-start my kingdom again" cannot because im at war with my own kingdom.  I cant help lords, villagers, patrols etc...  Some of my own towns i have to sneak into just to get in and it gives me the option to seige my own towns.  I cant send a truce to myself.  How can i get my kingdom back in the positive???

Left your own kingdom? You mean you have become a vassal of another kingdom? If so all your fiefs and lords should also have joined to the other kingdom with you.

yes all my lords and feifs came with me.  i tried to "remake" a kingdom again and it automatically went to my old kingdom name and had the negative numbers.  i have no idea what this clone thing is you're talking about?  yes i tried renaming my kingdom and all that stuff...im tried helping lords but am not allowd.  cant help caravans, villagers, etc... every town of mine or my lords that i enter it asks me if i want to seige it or the only way to get in is to sneak in.  i dont know how or why this is happening or why there were left over patrols after i disbanded my kingdom in the first place but there has to be a way to fix this...

there is probably a faster/easier cheat/edit way to solve your problem, sorry I don't know any, but I'm just going to throw an idea at you.  Try to find one of your kingdom's farmer parties or custodes under attack from bandits.  Rush to their aid.  This might just raise relations with your faction enough to make it neutral again and end the weirdness.

nah ive tried that.  any individual party in my kingdom while under attack wont let me help them.  just says "do not get involved"  im not a scripter or a programer or anything but cant you mod the faction folder or some folder to where you can raise or lower loyalty of the factions??

darn mcdarn.  I can't think of any other in-game mechanism to increase relations with a faction.  I googled cheats and I couldn't find one to increase relations with a faction, and as for modding files I would assume that it would be your save file that would need to be changed, but I just tried opening a .sav with notepad and its 90% gobelygook.  Have you tried a test of what happens when you besiege one of your own cities?  Btw, sorry for mentioning helping caravans/villagers, I reread your original posts and you already mentioned that it doesn't work

haha actually yeah i did test seiging my own city...hence the -45 faction relation .  had i not have done that i would probably still be at -3 for attacking the patrol.  im sure things wouldnt be "as" bad.  but then again you never know.  Would it go down over time or is that a no go?  i wish there was a way to just make another kingdom name and it would nullify the one that i have already.  Or just when you disband the kingdom and join another that it would reset.  in this case...wishful thinking

that is a real pain my friend, wish I could help you.  Maybe post a thread on the main M&B board and someone might be able to help you there.  I always make a save every ingame week just in case of anything weird happening, and every couple of months I copy and paste those save files into a backup folder.  I have had my fair share of glitches going back twenty years in gaming and I have learned my lesson to always backup even when things seem to be going fine.  I remember in the original Doom getting to the final level on hardest mode (the one where the baddies continually respawn and there is almost no ammo/health around  ) and my save file got corrupted!
