i have idea about modern warfare mod -no mod like this was ever created
1) switching troop tree for native 5 faction for first time
2) weapons like Ak47, M16, M4, G36...and many more (rifles, submachineguns, pistols, sniper rifles)
3)factions...hmmm maybe USA, Russian, EU, ??, ??
but i dont know how to code so thats my big problem
naah, with my limited free time, Star Wars will be my main focus. But I was looking for a little bit of a break for Star Wars modding, and to also do something closer to the native game, so a Midkemia based mod made sense since I liked those books. People have talked about a Modern Warfare Mod before, and while it would be cool, I don't think it fits the M&B engine very well. M&B engine is great for horse combat, infantry sword fighting, etc, but you can't duck or crouch, the AI can't take cover, no fully automatic weapons, options are very limited for vehicles, and it would probably require a lot of scene editing and a ton of new models. Even Star Wars is a bit of a reach but because it has speeder bikes, lightsabers, and vibro weapons it basically works. There is currently a WW2 mod, and KON_Air had a mod called Mount&Shotgun which had a bunch of modern weapons, that was for an older version of M&B but might be worth checking out. The coding aspect is relatively easy to learn and I could talk you through that process if you are interested. But there are a lot of limitations with the M&B engine that make creating this Star Wars mod (and also a modern warfare mod), very frustrating. That was one of the reasons I worked on this Midkemia mod just so I could take a break.
