Those are my favorites. I gotta say, when the translator is finished and he reads "Giving first-aid the already disheveled hair projection." and he thinks that that makes any sense, I wonder why he wasn't fired.

that was ^pretty ok, I like the original better tough (for the tragic lyrics)
I remember some razorknife selling company had the Oh fortuna song in their add to glorify their new razor. I found that verry weird because at the moment of showing the razor. the lyrics were the last verse:
Sors salutis
et virtutis
michi nunc contraria,
est affectus
et defectus
semper in angaria.
Hac in hora
sine mora
corde pulsum tangite;
quod per sortem
sternit fortem,
mecum omnes plangite!
wich means:
Fate is against me
in health
and virtue
,driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the string man,
everyone weep with me! .
I was wondering how that was to relate to shaving your beard. but then i realized people didn't know what it ment annyway and just went for the "cool" sound. wich in turn pissed me off and made me decide that if I ever see a building of that company, I'll throw a few bricks through the windows with the lyrics and translation wrapped around.

I read an article in a newspaper about Turkish movies that are remakes of Hollywood stuff and although they have no subtitles they are really getting popular in America because people think it is funny to see a low budget movie with some Turkish man playing Luke Skywalker fighting the sandmen with a spear, or some guy with a big belly dressed up in that ridiculous Superman costume.
