is there a download link to get the the normal sounds?
so i get them in a mod
because i downloaded the mod 'the swadians reunited' i like everything only the sounds i hate,
now the mod sucks because those sounds i dont like..
i want the normal sounds.
is that possible?

So you want to replace the new ones with vanilla sounds? then you dont need to download anything since you have the original ones allready in M&Bs sound folder wich is in the main game folder. But replacing the new sounds might be easy or a bit harder depending if they're meant to replace the original ones, then they should be named exactly the same as original sounds. If so, then just copy/paste the originals over the new ones and there you go.
Instead, if the new sounds are named differently and assigned to certain events with module system, then its a bit more complicated. or you could just rename the originals to match the new ones and again copy/paste  :)

sorry if this explanation was too confusing, as my english is not that good

cant you just copy the sounds.txt file and sounds folder form native and paste them in the mod folder?

that might not work if there's some completely new sounds used in the mod, if you just copied the vanilla sounds text to the mod folder, then the game wont find these completely new sounds and will most likely crash and throw some error at you

Maybe you should download the "More Metal Sounds" mod, it contains new and
realistic sounds (like in Native). I personally use it in every mod I have.
I'll post the link to download if you want.

This might work: open the module.ini file in the module's folder. Change
Code:
scan_module_sounds = 1
to
Code:
scan_module_sounds = 0
There is a chance that the mod maker has changed his module's sounds file - if this is the case, then just doing the above will mean a lack of sound in some instances. Should this happen, copy the sounds.txt file from Native to this module.
