Standalone Installer - Any way to bypass game detection?

Ok now's time to explain myself correctly. I had warband standalone version installed (patched at 1.143), then I installed it also on steam briefly to see if the CD-Key was a 4x4 one (this was because of the problem with the 6x4 CD-Key I had on the original M&B) and uninstalled it on steam as soon as I saw the CD-Key was correct.

After that I reinstalled Warband on steam, but the napoleonic wars standalone full installer/patcher says I don't have warband installed, also the patcher for warband says the same.

So, my question is if there is any command that can be used to bypass the game detection and just point where it is installed, as that would help me to get Napoleonic wars installed without any problem.

Before someone ask about it, the thing is that I bought the M&B Collection on steam, but the DLC on other seller, and their NW version is outdated, so even if I manage to install it from their launcher, I still need to update it using the standalone updater, and the game detection thing on the standalone installer is what is stopping me from doing so.

I hope I have been clear, if not just point me what is needed and I will try to explain it in more detail, thanks in advance and have fun ^^.

Can you try to activate your DLC serial on steam?

If that doesn't work,
To fix the installer detection, please re-download and re-install Warband from this link:
http://download.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_setup_1153.exe

then install the game from this:
http://download.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_napoleonic_wars_setup_1006.exe

Yeah Activating the DLC on steam was the first thing I though, even before of buying it, but it didn't work for my shame xD.

And yeah, what I though on the first place was to redownload the full standalone and install it on the steam version, so the regs keys point there.

The installer fix was in order to avoid redownloading the full game again, as I already managed to install NW from the download manager of that seller, but it seems the version they have is outdated (1.001 right now) so I just needed to download the small 1.002 patch and apply it to the current installation.

Thanks for the support anyway, I hope it helps others ^^.

Also, a way to bypass the game installation detection would help a lot in cases like this, and more to people like me with a crap internet connection that the difference from 40 MB to 800 MB download is several hours. Something like this: "installer.exe -b" for example.

Thanks again, and have fun ^^
