It's a simple reason as to why I have a Waffen-SS Panzergrenadier as my avatar, and a Waffen-SS motto as my personal text.

The Waffen-SS was not entirely considered "NAZI," even though it was associated as such (thanks to American political "correctness").

When trying to defend your decision on using an SS man as avatar, it's not a good idea to attack political correctness, because that just makes you look even worse. It's also not a good idea to flaunt your misconceptions. Waffen-SS was and is entirely considered "NAZI", whatever "NAZI" means as usually historians just use Nazi without block letters or quotation marks, you dimwit.

It was a household guard of Adolf Hitler, an elite infantry force, compromised of the most veteran of soldiers and the most valorous of men. Many of the men in the Waffen-SS were not even National Socialists.

Stop the lies and start the truths. LSAH men were all NSDAP-members and old street thugs, not elite veterans and calling them valorous is questionable as well. The division did not stand out for valor very much and calling certified Nazi thugs valorous shows extremely bad taste.

Nazis are bad, the soviets were bad, most of us are bad. Few pictures of us or the iconography related to us stir up half as much **** as the nazi stuff though.
