I don't want to start a discussion as to why you lot did it (especially since it was before your time IIRC), but it's silly nevertheless. Especially because it was so obviously satire.

Wellenbrecher is right, the Nazi Witch Hunt thread and Kleid went nuts when Tib, myself and others were using avatars from The Producers which is a satire. Somewhat ironically, it also satirizes the banning of Nazi imagery.

What really grinds my gears is while I got a warning and my avatar changed to something silly before I even saw the thread, Danik parades around with SS avatars and others use Nazi Officers and when I report them, nothing is done about it.

I don't think that the Nazi symbolism should have been banned either. You cannot ban history. It's not the symbols which killed a lot of people, it was a certain group which was long ago judged and punished. Thus, I do not see the reason to do the same thing with Communists.

That means TW pays for it! ^__^  That is, they pay for the server. SMF itself is completely free. Anybody can use it. Hey, didn't I see FSE using it too?!? Very suspicious...

Taleworlds is legally accountable for all content posted on these boards, and we don't want to get in trouble with the law. Bear in mind that a search engine such as Google may easily return your post out of context on a search, and we don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention.

If I personally can understand the ban on any ideology related stuff then it's probably SS related crap, because it generally hardly gets any more "war crime" than that.
