I am with Wellen too, unban Hitler people should be mature enough to realise that deleting a part of history is a great crime, as the crimes committed in said history will be forgotten, and we will be doomed to repeat them.

This is the forum of a game development company and whilst the TaleWorlds offices are a badass swinging **** of a pimp suite, as of yet we don't quite have the power to rewrite history. Most people here have the right of it, that Nazi symbolism is considered more offensive in general. Whether that's rational or not is pretty irrelevant. It probably wouldn't have been banned anyway, if people hadn't gone crazy adding it to their avatars and signatures.

Only reason Hitler is generally more taboo than all other historical ethnic cleansing figures is because Hitler stirred the propaganda bike in the west more than all the others.

Your motivation for banning Stalin's image is highly suspect and looks more like a burning sensation in your anus rather than a legitimate improvement to this forum. Explain yourself without dodgy comparisons to Hitler.
(I expect that by your logic, the images of any historical persons who did wrong to ANY country can be banned.)

I would like to request a ban of MadVader.

As we all know, Darth Vader is a well known mass-murder and was the main cause of the jedi purge. I find it extremely offensive that MadVaders continued use of the Dark Lords imagery is accepted on this forum, and anyone who does not agree with me, does, by my logic, condone the killing of younglings.

I never really saw the logic in banning any imagery of genocidal sociopaths or their related symbols, it's along the lines of "see no evil, hear no evil, thus do no evil".

All truth be told, people waving around Stalin and Hitler like it's good thing makes it easier to spot as megalomaniacs.

Now that you mentioned it again, wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back a flood of avatars that were complete satires though? Hitler in pink and all that.
