[SPOILER] Unique weapons question.

I know that it is supposedly possible to loot the unique weapons of kings, but is it actually practically possible? I have heard that you only loot the last instanced battle, so If I have to have battle size really high, I have an awesome computer so I can handle it. And if it is possible to get the weapons, whats the chance of looting them?
I have defeated so many kings and never got 1 unique weapon. And now, sarleon and Ravenstern are gone, so I wont be able to get theirs, and fierdsvain are about to pwn the D'shar.

Not sure if a King can get looted (or any hero type troop for that matter), probably because these troops cannot be killed (and therefore they don't get to drop their equipment).

If anyone has ever been able to loot a king then they can be looted (- but even when I flagged an item as always loot, I didn't see that item being dropped by a hero type troop).

Would it be possible then for Kings to offer up their unique weapon for freedom after being captured (just once obviously), just as some unique spawns currently do?

Very well ... it has been coded into PoP 3.41 now ... though this may delay the release a day or two because it needs to be thoroughly tested to see that it works well and as intended.

If you´re on it, TB, make it no upon a standard capture. Code it so that once a player destroys a faction a last stand fight pops up - the player vs the King. If the player wins he captures the king and the king awards him his weapon as the player is his rightous successor.

If the player loses, the king goes renegade and attacks everyone till he´s done for.

One last thing, Other than the chests in capitals, how else can I get the rare new items like ranger armor? I found the boots, but i have never seen any other part of it.

did you capture the other capitals? That's the only place where you'll find them.

That depends, rare items from large armies or named spawned are always nice

Well you will get some new ones once the new update happens but it will be awhile. As for the past update you check certain chests at certain places. As for two unique items. Well you need to defeat these two individuals to get them and they are quite the best around so far. But a pain to get. Or you just go Noldor shopping.

WELL... got a question
I got the Ruby Rune Bow from a GOD in the snowlands... "for the battle ahead" Do I get to keep it or is there a trigger of sorts?

YYou get to keep it. It triggers when wulfbode spawns and your traveling around up in the north. That's the only divine intervention that's useful.

theres only 2 capitals I havent checkes for the chests yet, Torbah and Janos. Just took javiksholm, but only got a gold bar and a silver axe that i found in a shop before :/
