*Spoiler* Missing quest target/person

Right when you decide what to do with the letter from bodo(stick with the danes or give it to wessex) and your party breaks up - the leader of wessex Brytenwalda or whatever(for both) has completely disappeared...when asking one of his vassals where he is - they name one of the purple villages on the west coast of Ireland. I've gone there twice. Once with a boat and once on land - I then saved and turned on the cheats and used cntr t went to the notes and it says the report is current but there are no tracks...and his party is no where to be found(not on land nor sea). Is there a command to call up someone or something along those lines? The village is bal...something north of connacht.

Maybe he is prisoner, you can try waiting some time. If he doesnt back, post a screenshots with where they say that he is and savegame plz.

I've had the same issue but with the Danish faction leader. He's forever travelling to Edinburgh and is apparently close to Bal Luighne. Waited so long for him to come back that the quest to swear an oath to him failed.

I have this quest.

You are not looking for the actual party of the lord.

Look for 'West Saxe Patrol' and go to them


However after this point, the game breaks for me at the dialog options. Please tell me if you can complete dialog with West Saxe patrol.

The patrol is no where on the map for me either. Also - he's not a prisoner as no countries are currently at war..and it's been about 10 in game days.

After looking through the factions it would appear that every character who was in Snotingaham (the three Ragnarsson's and Aelfed), plus Bjorn Ragnarsson and Brytenwalda Aethelred are no longer on the map once the Snotingham quest finishes. They are all mentioned in the notes section as being 'near Bal Luighne'.

How do I go about getting my save file to you guys, devs?

I have this problem as well, althou i havent finished the mission yet i just have to find the aeth guy to deliver bjorns letter of truce. It says hes at the bal something village in ireland as well but with ctrl T on hes not there so i cant progress the story...!!!

i "solved" this by just entering snot.. and then i went into an conversation so i could complete the quest

try entering snottingham(sp?) they're supposed to talk to you there...and then after that mission all the missing lords should spawn there and go their separate ways...if this doesn't work..the trigger bugged out..and you'll need to start over at an earlier point. How early I don't know...I do know the lords disappear as soon as you flee(shortly there after) from the betrayal by sven.

I ask his guards about his whereabouts, and they tell me that he's travelling and should be somewhere around Bal Luighne. But he's not there! He is not a prisoner also! I can't progress the story. Please tell me some code to respawn this NPC, since I don't have savegames before this point, and I don't want to start it all over again.

You need to go straight to totenburg or whatever the name of the place thats being besieged.

This will then trigger a mission to go through a forest to reach the Ragnarsons.

Ignore the patrol. Ignore everything else.

Now I need to deliver letter either to vikings or to West Saxe leader. So what should I do if I don't want to start the game all over and I don't have any savegames other than one which looks to be bugged now?
