Spintires

Oh don't even get me started on the damn orange Kamaz. That thing takes damage from driving over a ****ing pebble.

I am finding the game very fun despite its many problems, though. It's a very relaxed kind of game, it plays very slowly and there's almost no pressure on you. I don't know that I'd play it on its own, but it's one of those things that are great while also doing something else, like watching a Let's Play on my second monitor or listening to a podcast.

No pressure? I don´t know where you´re driving, but it sure ain´t where I´m driving.

The thing I miss the most is a driver and an ability to exit the vehicle and take a walk to see what is ahead, instead of trial and erroring with trailer full of long logs.

What pressure is there? There's no time limit and pretty much the only way you can lose is if you destroy or run out of fuel all your vehicles (assuming you're playing hardcore mode; on softcore you can just warp to a garage at any time, if I understand it correctly). I've found the biggest obstacle to be my own impatience. Once I've learned to take it slow and careful, I haven't really had any problems.

That's what the UAZ is for. I agree that being able to get out and walk around on foot would be really cool and useful, but I've only ever seen one driving game that allowed you to do that, that being MotorM4X (which is excellent, incidentally).

Pretty damn crazy. I can appreciate the RAGGEEE when you make a game that makes a couple hundred thousand dollars and see none of it because you got into a ****ty agreement with a publisher, but on the other hand he just shot himself in the foot for ever being able to do it again.

Because he couldn't get his money, he also decided to hurt everybody else who payed for a copy of the game. So not only does he not have his money, now everyone who purchased the game does not have the game they bought with their cash, and instead the publisher STILL has all their cash. Now everyone loses... except the alleged 'bad guys'. Sigh.

This guy is a damn mess, and probably won't be able get a job in software, won't be able to kickstarter or probably even sell another game of his own creation without hiding who he is. I can't imagine ever buying something from this guy ever again.

It is a real shame because spintires was such a cool game and idea, it had a lot of potential. Hopefully someone can take the idea and run with it, I'd really love to see a spintires like VR game too, would be damn awesome.

Welp, looks like it was just everybody jumping to conclusions. Good to know it wasn't a malicious F U move.
