Special Moves?

Just a quick question.

I am pretty familiar with the game now, I can take on a group of about six pirates by myself.

However, I was once in a tournament match (haven't we all? ) and I hit someone with a lance. Instead of "Warrider Damage" there was a message something like "Lower Couched Lance Damage" or something like that. I definately know that "Couched" and "Lance" was there, not sure about the rest of the message. The point is, how the hell did I do it?

in the actuall version you need a horse wich is faster than 7! i think it works with speed 8 and with 9+ for sure!

ok buy such a horse! take a flat area in a map, and go fullspeed! when you reach 5.5ms your lance is lowerd automatically! now you can move the lance up and down with the mouse(for aiming head or body), but not to the left or right!(the left/right movement has to be corrected with the horse)

if you manage to pirce an enemy with the couched lance you score tripple damage!!!
this means you must not press attack! just go fullspeed and "aim" with the lowered lance tip at an enemy. when you pass him slightly to the left, your lance hits but you horse doesnot rear!

hm iv heard of this,, but its really hard to pull off
you should get a message or somthing saying that you acheived enough velocity for the attack or somthing.

Its preety obvious when your lance gets lowered.

Yeah, it goes from pointing straight up in the sky to pointing straight ahead. Kind of hard to miss.

That said, keep in mind that it doesn't work if you're holding down the attack button. It's kind of counter-intuitive in that respect. When you're holding down the attack button, the lance looks like it's couched, but it's not.
