Spearmen obviously have such a long weapon. How can they attack from a long distance

This is due to the AI not being able to properly judge distance when using spears. Especially evident in tournaments where fights can drag on for 10+ minutes because the last 2 fighters get in each others face and thier spears bounce off each other due to being too close.

Not as bad as tournaments in vanilla Warband with poleams, some mods fixed it.
