THAT, was fun. I tried the second mission of the first campaign, and, true to Aliens, the sergeant was the first to go. I immediately formed my unit up, teams of two covering each other. I was taking them out in the droves, although soon my flamer marine, or 'Vasquez' as I like to call him, was cornered, out of ammo, with 'stealers on all sides. he managed to take down three in CC before succumbing to the horde. the remaining three looked like they wouldn't survive 2 rounds. two went down, taking 5 each with them. There was one marine left, with a stormbolter and 5 'stealers to take down to complete the mission. It seemed like no easy task, but I hadn't remembered the fact that the command points no longer needed to be shared out.
So that was 2 points shooting, taking one out, 1 point shooting to take one out, 1 point turning, and another 6 points taking 3 out. I had done it. That was one o the closest games of my life. It was so nerve racking, every move needed to be done perfectly. I was very impressed with the A.I, and how games are never the same.
