Sound Problem

Hey All,

First Post on the forum, just bought Warband today.

And I'm afraid a big problem has presented itself, this is what happens:

Play the game, no problems. I go into a menu to change an option or control, does not matter which one, go back ingame and All Sound is gone, not just Music but also Battle effects etc. You name it.

When I go back to windows, to test if it works, sound works fine, so only the Ingame sound has a problem.

PC Info:

Intel Core2DUo E7500 (2,93 Ghz)
2GB RAM
Nvidia 9600GT GPU
Creative Audigy ZS2 Soundcard (with updated drivers, I have updated them to see if it would solve the problem but it didn't)

Warband is the only game that delivers this problem. No other games have it.

Any Suggestions Please? If it is solvable

Version of Warband is the newest btw 1.131

There is a volume control in the game.
But that's prob not the problem.
Here is what the problem PROBALY is:

When you start up the game (where the menu is where you can select different mods and such) go to "configure" then go to "audio" then it says enable sound variation, disable sound, disable music.
Make sure the top one is checked, and the bottom to aren't checked. You want sound variation checked and the other two unchecked if that's NOT the problem then I'm not sure. Hope it Helps!

Thanks for the reply mate,

Volume Control is up to full.

Tried it with both Sound varation on and off, didn't work either.

And disable sound and music are both not marked.

Maybe I'm in luck, reloaded the new Soundcard Drivers Again and have not had the problem anymore
